Banbridge Area Learning Community

Learning Communities exist to develop collaborative practice between member institutions in order to increase the number of subjects which students can choose to study at Key Stage 4 and Post 16 in line with the Department of Education’s initiative of the Entitlement Framework by which all post 14 students must have access to a minimum of 23 subjects, one third of which must be academic and one third applied and Post 16 students – a minimum of 27 subjects of which one third must applied and one third academic.
